Mandatory Boil Water Order
Pembroke Pines, FL…September 16, 2017…4pm… The City of Pembroke Pines staff and crews continue the lengthy process of Hurricane Irma clearing and restoration. PEMBROKE PINES CHARTER SCHOOL SYSTEM follows Broward County Public Schools. An announcement will be made by Broward County Public Schools when the final decision is made regarding the exact day classes will resume. All Broward County public schools and District offices remained closed through Friday, September 15, 2017. The goal, per Broward County Public Schools, is to reopen schools on Monday, September 18, 2017, pending the restoration of power.
MANDATORY BOIL WATER ADVISORY is still in effect. Please continue to boil all water intended for consumption, cooking, making ice, washing dishes by hand, and/or brushing teeth. Bacteriological tests are underway. Residents who receive a water bill from the City of Pembroke Pines are under this mandatory boil water notice.
